📋 Information: Chili Pepper 'Piri Piri' is a traditional African bird-type chili producing clusters of small, slender pods that ripen from green to deep red. The flavour is sharp, bright and slightly citrus-like, giving an immediate, penetrating heat that makes it the authentic choice for Piri Piri sauces, marinades and spicy grilled dishes.

This variety typically measures between 50,000 and 100,000 SHU on the Scoville scale. Plants are compact, upright and exceptionally heavy cropping, often carrying dozens of small fruits at once. They thrive in full sun, grow well in pots or containers, and dry quickly for storing whole, crushing or turning into flakes.
